This is a service that touched my heart. When I heard of this devastating tragedy, I asked myself what could I do to help the families whose lives were destroyed by a natural disaster. Then, I heard about the One Life..MANY VOICES Project that the cast of the daytime drama One Life To Live were developing to provide financial support for the families of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita. As we all know, celebrities have always participated in charity events, whether voluntarily or otherwise.

So, what makes this project different? The people involved showed a compassion and real commitment to service; a service to humanity. This is a work of LOVE. And I am honored to be a part of this.
